Lil Bear Book Club August 2016

Lil Bear Book Club - August 2016

Lil Bear Book Club is a subscription box for books. You can choose from two different plans. You can choose to receive either 3-4  board books starting at $17.99  or 2-3 picture books starting at $16.99. This review is for the picture books. Each book comes individually wrapped and tied with a ribbon which I really like. This makes it the perfect gift for any little one in your life.

Here is a picture of the box. It's pretty cute.

The first book is called You're a Crab A Moody Day Book. ($13.80) It was written and illustrated by Jenny Whitehead. It is a book about a crab and other creatures in the sea. This book teaches you about being moody and how is okay to feel crabby sometimes but you will not always feel this way and will feel better late. I really like this book the illustrations are very nice and well done and I like them a lot. I really enjoyed this book and I know your little one will too.

The last book in this box was called Night Knight by Owen Davey. ($14.32)  What I love about this book is that is it actually signed by the author. I thought that was pretty neat and I do not see that too often with my sons books. This book is about a knight who is tired and the obstacles he has to overcome before going off to bed. It is a perfect bedtime story for your little one and it also has nice illustrations. I really liked this book.

Let me know what you think about this months Lil Bear Book Club in the comments below. Will you be purchasing a box for your little one too? I love this book and think it is amazing and it is good to get your kids to read or to read to them. My son is two but he loved when I read these books to him. He is at an age where he loves books and is always excited to see new ones in the house. The overall value of this box is $28.12 For pricing I used Barnes & Noble.

Disclosure: I received this box free for my honest and unbiased review.

  2. Which book is the one with the bugs and bees?

Just finished reading a book to our son about flies and mosquitoes. Well, he's 4 months old so it's more like reading it 5 times already but it has some fun rhymes in it. Gotta make it interesting for them with sounds and expressions.

    Thanks for sharing these.

  6. This sounds great! When we were living in the states our state had a similar program for free and the kids would receive a free book each month. Both of my kiddos love to read so they would love this.
